The location we chose for our wedding is the beautiful Belle Grove Plantation in Middletown, Virginia. Belle Grove is a plantation that dates back to 1797 and was owned and built by Major Isaac Hite and his wife Nelly Madison Hite, who was the sister of James Madison. The house was also badly bruised during the Civil War during the Battle of Cedar Creek. Our wedding will take place promptly at 5:00 p.m outside the grounds of the manor house. Afterwards enjoy a cocktail hour while the dossiers show you inside the manor house. At 6:30 enjoy a barbecue reception. The meal will include pork barbecue, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, spice baked apples, broccoli salad with cashews and most importantly cake.

All that we ask of our guests is to dress appropriately for the wedding. Please be semi-formal and conservative with your outfits.
